A toolbox out of the ordinary
This “hacker’s toolbox” contains equipment that can be used to intercept quantum cryptographic transmissions. The case contains lasers, fibre optics and electronics that can be used to fool the receiver of the transmission, so that the eavesdropping is not detected. The case was created by NTNU’s own “hacking team” at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications. Their job is to ensure the security of quantum cryptographic systems.
